The view from Mt. Dalsnibba...

at the summit (1,476 m; 4,843 ft) towards the northwest, looking down into the hanging valley leading to Geiranger Fjord in the distance (click to enlarge.) This spectacular landscape offers textbook examples of glacially eroded landforms including aretes, tarns, cirques, horns, truncated spurs, and many more. It's a geomorphologist's paradise!

  3. How did you get to the summit of the mountain? Was there a hiking trail, or could you ride up? Looks a lot like the scenery around Telluride!
