Geiranger Fjord...


is arguably one of the most scenic waterways in the world. Glacial erosion has deeply scoured the Proterozoic-age gneiss creating these steep-walled and deep fjords, this one approximately 260 m below sea level. This image shows the Seven Sisters waterfall from aboard ship (click to enlarge.) Gee, I wish there were something to look at! The weather remains excellent, as you can see.
