Favorable reviews...

of Microsoft Windows 7 from cnet and Gizmodo, though there are too many versions of the new OS in my opinion.

    Agreed. When you need a spreadsheet to illustrate the differences between versions of an OS, things are out of hand.

    I'm keen on the idea of netbooks using XP however, low overhead, wide compatibility (almost all programs I use run well in XP), and relatively low price.
